As Intern

Individuals interested in joining our organization as Interns must demonstrate a genuine passion for learning and contributing to the mission of the organization. Interns are expected to have a fundamental understanding of charitable and community-focused work and a sincere commitment to supporting underserved children, families, and community initiatives.

Intern candidates are strongly encouraged to commit to a minimum service period of one (1) year, with two (2) years recommended to ensure meaningful learning, continuity, and program impact.

By applying to become an intern, the individual agrees to the following:

  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, curiosity, and dedication toward the skills and knowledge they intend to learn.

  • Carry out assigned tasks, duties, and responsibilities with the same level of professionalism and accountability expected of paid employees.

  • Show measurable improvement and professional development over time through training, mentorship, and practical work experience.

  • Assist staff and program leaders with program support, research, administrative tasks, community outreach, event preparation, documentation, and other operational duties as assigned.

  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respect when working with children, families, volunteers, educators, sponsors, and community partners.

  • Follow all organizational policies, safety procedures, and child protection standards.

  • Meet all requirements applicable to staff members, including but not limited to background checks, eligibility verification, training requirements, and organizational compliance policies.

  • Complete and submit the Intern Application Form below and provide any requested supporting documentation prior to acceptance into the program.

Submission of the form below does not guarantee acceptance into the internship program. The organization reserves the right to review, approve, or decline applicants at its sole discretion in order to maintain the safety, integrity, and effectiveness of its programs.

Please note that because our organization works directly with children, all applicants must meet the required eligibility and safety standards outlined HERE.
