MENTAL HEALTH
The ICDS.ngo Mental Health program is designed to help children reduce pain—both emotional and mental—by providing comfort, stability, and gentle tools that support healing. Plush toys play a meaningful role in this process. Cuddling a soft, comforting toy can release oxytocin, a natural hormone that helps reduce stress and pain while creating a sense of safety and calm. When children feel comforted, they are better able to regulate emotions, think more clearly, and function with greater focus in their daily lives.
By easing anxiety and emotional strain, the program supports healthier development overall. Children gain improved self-discipline and confidence, allowing them to engage more positively with learning and social interactions. This emotional balance enhances cognitive abilities, boosts creativity, and strengthens problem-solving skills—helping children grow not just academically, but emotionally and mentally, with confidence and resilience.
