WHY YOU SHOULD VOLUNTEER WITH OUR NONPROFIT?

Volunteering with our nonprofit is a powerful way to give back while growing as a person. Your time and effort create real change, strengthen the community, and help shape a better future—while giving you meaningful experiences that last a lifetime.

Individuals wishing to join ICDS.ngo as volunteers must demonstrate a genuine passion for volunteering and a commitment to assisting, sharing, helping, and supporting others, particularly children, youth, and community initiatives served by the organization. Volunteers must maintain a clean criminal record and demonstrate patience, dedication, and a willingness to contribute their knowledge, skills, and time for the benefit of the community.

All volunteers are required to comply with the rules, policies, and regulations of ICDS.ngo, as well as all applicable local, state, and federal laws. Volunteers are expected to conduct themselves in a lawful, orderly, and professional manner that reflects positively on the organization.

Volunteers must be willing to accept tasks, duties, and responsibilities similar to those expected of paid staff members, and are expected to perform their roles with integrity, accountability, transparency, and reliability. All volunteers must agree to and operate under the Volunteer Code of Conduct Agreement, follow program guidelines, respect confidentiality, and maintain appropriate behavior when working with children, youth, sponsors, partners, and fellow team members.

Volunteers are expected to demonstrate growth and improvement in performance over time, maintain respectful collaboration with staff and participants, and contribute positively to the mission and programs of ICDS.ngo. Depending on the role, volunteers may assist with program support, mentoring, educational activities, event operations, administrative tasks, community outreach, logistical support, or other responsibilities assigned by the organization.

All volunteers must meet the same eligibility and compliance requirements as staff members, including background verification where applicable, and must complete the volunteer application form below before participating in any ICDS.ngo activities or programs.
