May is Mental Health Month

This May more than ever, the mental health of our nation and in particular the children is a major concern. children were quarantined, and isolated behind mask while playing in doors during the COVID 19 outbreak.

Restrictions and great loss hammered the mental health of children triggered by

  • Separation from school friends

  • Separation from grand parents and close family

  • Separation from parental gardians or in worse cases

  • The loss of persons from one or more of these groups as victims of COVID

  • domestic violence

Mental Health in the Subway

The young people have to adjust to A NEW NORMAL which comes at a cost. They are unhappy, angry, afraid, suffering from acute stress disorder, adjustment disorder, grief, anxiety, higher mood disorder, mood swings into depression, psychosis, and increasing chances of death by suicide in adulthood.
